Meet Joshua

Hi there my name is Joshua,

My name is Joshua Heroux. Before coming into the Community House program I was struggling with addiction and homelessness. I was on a one way trip to prison by my choices and actions.

I entered the Community House program where I got a good understanding on the mental health and recovery process. I was a resident for 13 months. I did a lot of work on myself with the help of the wrap around services offered to me.

My wife and I gained independent living and we both now are productive members of society. I now work for CORE Health as maintenance for most sites.

I am blessed and fortunate for everything we have in our lives today including children and family. My recovery is very important to me today. I love my job and my life today.
