Case Management is a vital and necessary component to ensure the success of all those who seek emergency shelter at Community House on Broadway. Upon entry, all individuals are linked with one of our case managers who assist the client through the process of connection with community services, achieving added stability and exiting into housing that best suits his or her needs.

Our supportive housing specialists will work alongside residents by advocating and building relationships with both the client and landlords. Our goal is to assist residents in living a life of stability.

From resume building to learning one on one with an employment specialist, our Supportive Employment Services provides residents with obtaining and thriving in a career they love!

Community House on Broadway’s partnership with CORE Health provides onsite mental health services, psychiatric care and peer counseling for those staying at the shelter.

Our onsite Substance Abuse Program in partnership with CORE Health offers clients the support and accountability needed to live a life free from addiction. From individual treatment to group therapy our team is dedicated to empowering those to live a future without the negative impact of drugs or alcohol.

Kids Club at Community House on Broadway offers the children who are staying at the shelter a place to learn and play while their parent/guardians seek services and outside resources. Our mission is to offer support for parents as they navigate their journey towards self-sufficiency.

Our Emotion Coaching parenting class helps train residents with children in ways to confront issues within the family such as ways of speaking with children, proper discipline, and ways of coping when things seem out of hand. It addresses the ties between emotions and actions and teaches parents how to control their emotions.

Parents for Parents (P4P) provides peer mentoring for families in the dependency court system. P4P is an evidence-based model that provides early outreach and education that helps shift parental attitudes from anger and resentment to acknowledgment and acceptance and enhances parent’s engagement in their court-ordered plans.
